Jesus Walks on the Water - (John 6:16-21)
16-When evening came, his disciples went down to the lake, 17-where they got into a boat and set off across the lake for Capernaum. By now it was dark, and Jesus had not yet joined them. 18-A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough. 19-When they had rowed three or three and a half miles,[a] they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were terrified. 20-But he said to them, "It is I; don't be afraid." 21-Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading.Footnotes: 1. 16-A la tombée de la nuit, ses disciples redescendirent au bord du lac. 17-Ils montèrent dans un bateau et se dirigèrent vers *Capernaüm, sur l'autre rive. Il faisait déjà nuit et Jésus ne les avait pas encore rejoints. 18-Un vent violent se mit à souffler, et le lac était très agité. 19-Les *disciples avaient déjà parcouru cinq ou six kilomètres, quand ils virent Jésus marcher sur l'eau et s'approcher de leur bateau. L'épouvante les saisit. 20-Mais Jésus leur dit: C'est moi, n'ayez pas peur! 21-Ils voulurent alors le faire monter dans le bateau, mais, au même moment, ils touchèrent terre à l'endroit où ils voulaient aller.Jesús camina sobre el agua - (Juan 6:16-21)
16-Cuando ya anochecía, sus discípulos bajaron al lago17-y subieron a una barca, y comenzaron a cruzar el lago en dirección a Capernaúm. Para entonces ya había oscurecido, y Jesús todavía no se les había unido.18-Por causa del fuerte viento que soplaba, el lago estaba picado.19-Habrían remado unos cinco o seis kilómetros[a] cuando vieron que Jesús se acercaba a la barca, caminando sobre el agua, y se asustaron.20-Pero él les dijo: «No tengan miedo, que soy yo.»21-Así que se dispusieron a recibirlo a bordo, y en seguida la barca llegó a la orilla adonde se dirigían.Footnotes: * [a] Juan 6:19 cinco o seis kilómetros. Jesus anda por sobre o mar - (João 6:16-21)
16-Ao cair da tarde, desceram os seus discípulos ao mar; 17-e, entrando num barco, atravessavam o mar em direção a Cafarnaum; enquanto isso, escurecera e Jesus ainda não tinha vindo ter com eles; 18-ademais, o mar se empolava, porque soprava forte vento. 19-Tendo, pois, remado uns vinte e cinco ou trinta estádios, viram a Jesus andando sobre o mar e aproximando-se do barco; e ficaram atemorizados. 20-Mas ele lhes disse: Sou eu; não temais. 21-Então eles de boa mente o receberam no barco; e logo o barco chegou ã terra para onde iam.
